Artwork cataloguing for artists and galleries
CloudCat keeps every work, every edition and every sale in one record. Sending a collector a list of available works used to mean piecing together a spreadsheet, a folder of half-named photographs and an afternoon laying out a PDF by hand. Enter the work once and the rest comes out of that record: tear sheet, invoice, viewing room, wall plan, the page on your website.
It is held to the discipline of a catalogue raisonné (the complete, authoritative record an artist keeps of their work) brought to a living practice: serious infrastructure, a public API on top of your catalogue, and a full export in open formats whenever you want, so your data stays yours. Who owns CloudCat?
Independently owned, funded by the people who use it.
What if CloudCat goes away?
Everything exports in open formats: catalogue, sales, invoices, contacts and your original image files. On every plan, including the free one. The export is never gated or degraded.
What if I stop paying?
Your public site stays online for 30 days. Your catalogue stays intact and downloadable for 90 days, and taking a plan again within that window restores the workspace untouched. After that it is permanently deleted.
Can I use it with the website I already have?
Yes. Host with CloudCat, point your own domain at it, or feed a site you already run — Squarespace, Webflow, Framer, something your developer built. The read-only API is on every plan, and putting your catalogue on a public page is what it is for.
